Bandit 10U Open Tryouts

The Bandits will be holding open tryouts for the 2016-17 season. Choose a time and location form the schedule below and plan to attend.
  • Thursday August 4th, Legacy Fields, 1313 E. North St., Crown Point, IN
    • Registration - (4:30 - 5:00 pm)
    • Tryout - (5:00 - 7:30 pm)
  • Sunday August 7th, Marist High School, 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago, IL
    • Registration - (9:30 - 10:00 am)
    • Tryout - (10:00 am - 12:30 pm)

Our 12U Futures just WIN!

Congratulations go out to our Futures 12U team, coached by Steven Ball. On May 20-22 they won the PGF Showdown trounament in Crown Point, IN; an dturned around the following week and won the Beggar's Deep Dish tournament - at the 14U level! Great job girls, and great job coach Ball and staff.

DeMarini 12U Heats Up a Cold Spring

DeMarini 12U go undefeated in Pot-O-Gold and Grand Slam tournaments.

Congratulations to the girls of the DeMarini 12U team for their victories in the Pot-O-Gold tournament in Bowling Green, KY, and the Rawlings Grand Slam tournament in Shelbyville, IN. Not only did they win these tournaments, they swept through each in undefeated fashion. Great way to start the Spring ladies.

BanditFest is back for 2016 at the Roma Sports Club in Frankfort, IL. On January 1, 2016, there will be a futures camp hosted featuring instruction from former and current members of the 2015 NPF Champion Chicago Bandits, as well as former and current Beverly Bandit players.

The Bandits welcome a new team

The Bandit organization has added a new 12U squad to Team Demarini. Led by Head Coach Matt Helbling, our new group of girls is already proving to be a team to watch.
In addition to winning the OH ASA/USA National Qualifier in Columbus, OH as undefeated champs, they have also won the USSSA Fall Flight in Columbus, and were runners-up at the Scott Henderson Classic in Albany, IN playing up at 14U. Celebrating a successful 2014-15 season

The Bandit organization would like to thank last year's coaches for their time and effort in the development of our young ladies. Their dedication, both past and present, translated into 42 players verbally committing to collegiate programs last year.

We can't forget the dedication and effort of the girls themselves who achieved great successes on the field as well:
  • 10U are the PGF Midwest Regional Champions
  • 12U won 8 tournaments including the Nebraska Best-of-the-Best
  • 14U Futures won the Grand Park Shootout and PGF Midwest Regionals
  • 14U Premier won the Iowa Classic and Border Wars at 16U
  • 14U DeMarini won 3rd place at the PGF Nationals, the PGF Labor Day Showcase, NJ 16U Showcase, and PGF National Qualifier in Ohio
  • 16U Premier won the Crown Point National Qualifier and the IDT Boulder
  • 16U DeMarini won 2nd place at the PGF Nationals, the PGF Labor Day Showcase, and PGF National Qualifier in Ohio
  • 16U Tyrrell took 3rd place in IDT Boulder and 7th place at PGF Nationals
  • 18U Conroy were IDT Boulder Champions and took 5th place at PGF Nationals
  • 18U DeMarini were ASA Gold Champions and won the Stingrays' tournament

Cambry Arnold - Team Premier 18U Cambry Arnold
Cambry is a senior on Team Premier 18u. She attends River Valley H.S. in Caledonia, Ohio and presently carries a 3.8 GPA. Cambry has committed to continue her education and playing career at James Madison University.
In Her Own Words...
Hi, I'm Cambry Arnold and I play 2nd and outfield for the 18U Bandits. I will be attending James Madison University. Playing on this team has been an amazing experience. I have become an all around better player and person. I wouldn't be the athlete I am today without the help of my coaches and family.
